Some of us are eagerly awaiting the first eye tracking virtual reality headset. While Fove was early to adopt the idea, it has pushed it’s release date back from Spring 2016 for early bird adopters to Fall 2016. This hasn’t been without good cause.
“The first thing you’ll notice is that we decided to remove the side parts that were included in the previous design. This decision was a result of a lot of internal discussion and user feedback – especially in regard to the weight and wearability of the headset. As a result, we were able to work towards a design that allowed for dramatically reduced weight, size and overall wearability, as well as better production efficiency.”
